Our trip to Oregon. Penny, Mike, Kaitlyn, Conner, and I took a trip to Elmira to visit Grandma and Grandpa. We had a great visit with them and Cass's family. It was good to see everyone and the kids had a great time getting to know each other and playing together.

Kelsey had her wisdom teeth pulled today. She wouldn't let me take a picture of her so here are the teeth. She's kind of out of it still, but I'm sure she'll be fine.

Welcome to Rhett Nickell.....Scott and Sharlen adopted this beautiful baby boy, born July 21st. He had a few scary moments with jaundice and such and had to have a blood transfusion, but he is home and all is well now.

FAIR 09

We've had a fun time at fair. Of course our longest days were the hottest. Conner had a good year. He placed 1st in showmanship, trail, and western pleasure. He placed 3rd in western eq. and 4th in horsemanship. Kaitlyn had a great time being the ring steward.

I'll bet you never knew that pudding could be dangerous. Conner was making a banquet lunch that had pudding in it. When he took it out of the microwave he dropped it and the pudding went everywhere, including on his leg. It was a very nasty burn. I am glad to report he has made a full recovery.

Starting my blog....

I'm finally starting a blog. I hope I can do half as well as Kara. Here are the kids during 4th of July weekend. We missed having Cody & Erin here, but I guess they wouldn't have fit on the pancake anyway.
